Primer
Once a wealthy socialite, Zinda Blake shoved her way into the Blackhawks, a boys club of resistance pilots in World War Two. A flying ace and markswoman, Zinda earned her spot as Lady Blackhawk, until the events of Zero Hour cast her out of her time and into the future.

First Impressions
Zinda is compact, curvy, and cheerful, with wavy light blonde hair, blue eyes, and an irrepressible grin. She's usually wearing her miniskirted Blackhawk uniform, including kneehigh boots and a jaunty cap, or dark skiny jeans and a black leather jacket. Generally armed.
Personality
I can order beer in thirty languages
Unbreakable, indefatigable, irrepressible, Zinda will always have your back, whether it’s for a fight against supervillains or bar room thugs or just One Of Those Days, and she’ll be more than happy to drive the getaway car (plane, helicopter, shuttle…) and laugh about it over a beer with you after.

Bubbly and breezy, Zinda can nevertheless focus, and focus hard, when she needs to. And if you cross one of her friends, watch out – she can hold a grudge like a champ.

Backstory
I'm Zinda Blake... last of the Blackhawks.
When war broke out across Europe, Zinda put her family's resources to good use. She learned to fly, shoot, and fight, and went overseas to join the elite, multi-national Resistance squadron, the Blackhawks. First turned away for being a woman, she eventually joined the Blackhawks and became a skilled, dedicated member of the squadron.

During her time with the Blackhawks, Zinda ran afoul of the supervillain Killer Shark. Infatuated with her, Killer Shark devised a plan to brainwash Zinda, turning her into the villanous Queen Killer Shark, who fought against her old friends the Blackhawks for over a year before Zinda was finally returned to herself.

After the war, Zinda found herself caught up in the events of Zero Hour, which plucked her out of her own time and sent her journeying through multiples times and universes. For a while, she worked as a buncer at Guy Gardner's interstellar bar, Warrior's, before returning to Earth.

Now some sixty years past her own time, and at a loss without her old friends, Zinda was recruited by Black Canary and Oracle to act as pilot for the new vigilante team, the Birds of Prey.
